Canaries Host K.C. In Weekend Series

The Sioux Falls Canaries wrap up their week-long roadtrip on Thursday night at 7:05 PM in Winnipeg, MB. RHP Grady Wood (0-0, 4.90 ERA) will take the mound for the Birds in search of his first win of the season. Fans can listen to all of the action starting at 6:45 p.m. on Sioux Falls Sports Radio, AM-1230, FM-98.1 KWSN.

The Birds will be back in Sioux Falls, June 2nd - June 4th to host the Kansas City T-Bones in a three-game weekend series at the Birdcage.  We have several great ticketing options available in 2017, with single game tickets starting out at $11 on Friday night. The Sioux Falls Stadium Box Office is located next to the main entrance of the ballpark. Hours for the box office are Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The box office opens 2 hours prior to weekend home games. The box office accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover. No checks accepted. No service fees apply

The Canaries return home on Friday, June 2nd to open up a three-game series against the Kansas City T-Bones.  Troy Marks (0-2, 12.37 ERA) will get the start in the series opener for the Birds' against Kansas City's right-hander Jeff Walters (0-0, 2.89 ERA).  

Marks went 8-4 with a 3.83 ERA in 16 starts and 24 total appearances for the Laredo Lemurs last season.

Gates open at 6:00 p.m. with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM on Friday night. Be sure to stick around after the game for the FIRST All-Star Fireworks display of the 2017 season, presented by the Orthopedic Institute and Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital.

The series wrap up on Sunday afternoon with a 4:05 PM first pitch against the Kansas City T-Bones. Left-hander Joe Bircher (1-2, 4.33 ERA) will take the mound for the Birds in the series finale. 

Bring the whole family out to Sioux Falls Stadium for the first Sunday Family Fun-Day of the year!  Fans will have the opportunity to walk out onto the field after the game for an autograph session with players and coaches, and kids will be able to run the bases as well!  Gates open at 3:00 PM, with first pitch scheduled for 4:05 PM.
