Wednesday Night's Matchup Against Fargo Postponed Due To Rain
Fargo, ND – Wednesday night’s game between the Sioux Falls Canaries and the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks has been postponed due to rain and will be made up as part of a doubleheader at Sioux Falls Stadium on Aug. 22 starting at 5:05 PM.
Grady Wood (5-2, 2.70 ERA) was scheduled to start the matchup against the RedHawks on Wednesday, but his start will be pushed back to Thursday night against the Texas AirHogs at Sioux Falls Stadium.
The Birds return home on Thursday for a seven-game homestand, starting with four games against the Texas AirHogs, August 3-6.
Bust out your suede jackets and your bell bottom jeans and do your best Smokey and the Bandit impressions with the Birds in the series opener against the Texas Airhogs! Thursday’s matchup against the AirHogs is Burt Reynolds Night and 70's Night at the Birdcage! Gates open at 6:00 PM with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM on Thursday Night against the AirHogs. It will also be Thirsty Thursday at the Birdcage Thursday night against Texas! Fans can enjoy our special Happy Hour prices all game long, including $2 beers!
