Canaries Host Friday Family Fun Night
Sioux Falls, SD—The Sioux Falls Canaries are encouraging fans to arrive early and take part in Family Fun Night at the Birdcage this Friday when they open a three-game series against the Cleburne Railroaders.
Gates will open at 5 PM and kids of all ages can bring their glove to the Birdcage and play catch in the outfield until 6:30 PM. Those looking to relax can bring a blanket for the outfield grass and watch the movie, The Sandlot, on the video board. In addition, fans of age can enjoy $1 beers and all fans can take advantage of $1 hot dogs from 5 PM to 6:30 PM.
Bouncy houses will be available starting at 5:30 PM and a wristband purchase allow kids to bounce for the entire game. First pitch will take place just after 7 PM and the ever famous All-Star Fireworks show, presented by Orthopedic Institute and Sioux Falls Specialty Hospital, will take place following the last pitch.
Fans are reminded to arrive to the game early on Friday and plan accordingly as the parking lot will be congested around 7 PM with a concert at the PREMIER Center taking place at the same time.
The Canaries will also host the Railroaders at 6:05 PM Saturday before closing out the series on Sunday with a 12:05 PM first pitch at the Birdcage. Kids can run the bases and get autographs from all the players after the game.
The Birds continue their homestand next Monday-Thursday with four-game series against Gary Southshore. Tickets for all games are available through the Canaries Box Office inside the Birdcage or by calling 605-336-6060.
