Canaries Chapel is a non-denominational, Christ-centered ministry entering its eighth season.  The purpose of this biblically based ministry is to serve the players by providing an opportunity to be connected spiritually. It is also a service for all players to be able to seek answers, counsel and support. Chapel invites all players to meet on Sundays throughout the season beginning in May.

Canaries Chapel is led by team chaplain Corey Camp who is in his 6th season serving the team. Corey, who is the Director of Advancement at Augustana College also serves as team chaplain for the Sioux Falls Stampede. Prior to working at Augustana, Corey worked in Oregon for Nike. Corey is married to his wife Tara and has two children, Cayden (10) and Kyah (8).

Canaries Chapel is supported by local churches and Baseball Chapel. Baseball Chapel is an international ministry recognized by all 210 teams in Major and Minor League Baseball and independent league teams. Approximately 3,000 players, coaches, managers, trainers, office staff and other team personnel, umpires and members of the media attend each week.

Each season, volunteer Prayer Partners led by the team chaplain, prays for the organization including individual players, coaches, front office staff, and more. If you would like more information on how to become a prayer partner, contact Corey Camp.
