Canaries Chapel is a non-denominational, Christ-centered ministry entering its 12th season. The purpose of this biblically based ministry is to serve the players by providing an opportunity to be connected spiritually. It is also a service for all players to be able to seek answers, counsel and support. Chapel invites all players to meet on Sundays throughout the season beginning in May.
Canaries Chapel is led by team chaplain Corey Camp who is entering his 10th season serving the team. Corey, is a Foundation Director at the Good Samaritan Society, and also serves as team chaplain for the Sioux Falls Stampede. Prior to working in Sioux Falls, Corey worked in Portland, Oregon for Nike. Corey is married to his wife Tara and has two children, Cayden and Kyah.
Baseball Chapel is an international ministry recognized by all 210 teams in Major and Minor League Baseball and independent league teams. Over 5,000 players, coaches, managers, trainers, office staff and other team personnel, umpires and members of the media attend each week.
