Coverage begins with the Orthopedic Institute Pregame Show 15 minutes before first pitch and concludes with the Sioux Falls Urgent Care Postgame Report after the game.

Carter Woodiel enters his second season as the "Voice of the Canaries" in 2019 after spending the 2018 season as the solo voice of the team. Sioux Falls native Brent Bartels joins Woodiel in the broadcast booth for home games in the 2019 season.

Last winter, Woodiel served as the voice of High Point University's women's basketball team, calling Big South Conference home games on ESPN+. He also served as a play-by-play broadcaster with North Carolina Central University, calling football, basketball and volleyball games on ESPN3 and the university's streaming platforms. 

Woodiel spent the summer of 2017 as the primary play-by-play voice of the Brewster Whitecaps in the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball league, calling the Whitecaps' full 53-game championship season.

A graduate of the University of Missouri, Woodiel earned his play-by-play chops at KCOU-FM in Columbia, Mo., where he served as Sports Director for the 2016-17 academic year.

Woodiel has also served as a writer and anchor for Newsy, a national video news network and cable television channel, as well as a news correspondent for KBIA-FM in Columbia, Missouri. 

Woodiel has won several awards, including a Missouri Broadcasters' Association award in 2015 for his play-by-play work with KCOU. He has also received two awards from the William Randolph Hearst Foundation, one of the highest honors a collegiate journalist can receive. Fans can follow him on Twitter at @CarterWoodiel.
