“It’s a great feeling as a manager knowing I can pencil in a premier defender at a premium position every single day,” said Canaries Skipper Mike Meyer. “Since Jordan arrived, he has done nothing but produce for us. He will once again play a key role as a table setter in our lineup and an anchor up the middle defensively.”
Barth’s ability to come through in late-inning situations has made him one of the most reliable players in critical moments. His defensive skills at shortstop, coupled with his offensive production, make him a vital part of the Canaries’ 2025 roster.
The Canaries will open their season on the road against the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks on Friday, May 9th. The team’s home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, May 13th, against the Lincoln Saltdogs, followed by a weekend series with the Chicago Dogs.
