Sioux Falls Canaries Re-Sign LHP Brady Stover
Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Canaries are excited to announce the return of former South Dakota State University Jackrabbit, Brady Stover, to the Birdcage!
Stover was a key contributor to the Canaries’ excellent pitching staff in 2024, widely regarded as one of the best in recent memory. The left-handed pitcher was called upon in critical moments throughout the season, consistently delivering under pressure and helping to extinguish late-game threats.
“Brady made significant strides in 2024,” said Canaries Manager Mike Meyer. “He, along with several other pitchers from last year’s roster, put in a tremendous amount of work during the offseason, and it’s evident in his performance. He had the best season of his career, and we are counting on him again to anchor the backend of our bullpen in 2025.”
The Canaries’ 2025 season kicks off on the road against the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks on Friday, May 9. The team’s home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, May 13, when they will host the Lincoln Saltdogs in a three-game series.
