HART, DORMINY POWER CANARIES TO FIFTH STRAIGHT WIN
Geneva, IL – Mike Hart homered twice and drove in five while Thomas Dorminy tossed 7 1/3 scoreless innings as the Sioux Falls Canaries cruised past Kane County 13-1 on Saturday.
Hart went 3-5 at the plate, sparking an offense that pounded out 13 hits and scored in six different innings. Jordan Barth and Calvin Estrada each collected two doubles while Estrada drove in three runs.
Dorminy scattered four hits and struck out three to improve to 4-0 on the season. The Canaries (18-15) have won now a season-high five games in a row and will look to sweep the three-game series Sunday at 1:00pm.
