Miller Earns Second Career Pitcher of the Week Honor
Sioux Falls Canaries starting pitcher Seth Miller has been named the American Association PointStreak Pitcher of the Week, for the week ending June 30.
Miller was the winning pitcher in both of his starts during the last homestand, allowing a run over 13 innings with six strikeouts. This marks the second time that the Blaine, Minnesota, native has received the honor after earning the nod on August 20, 2023.
The former All-American at Augustana University is 5-0 this season and his 3.09 ERA is the eighth-best mark in the American Association. The Canaries are a league-best 27-16 overall and possess a two-game lead in the West Division.
