Sioux Falls Canaries Re-sign RHP Seth Miller
Sioux Falls, SD – The first signing for the 2025 season is complete! Right-handed starting pitcher, Seth Miller, returns for his 3rd season in Sioux Falls.
Miller, 25, joined the Birds half-way through the 2023 season following a standout collegiate career at Augustana University.
This past season, Miller took a huge step forward with his performance, tallying 100.2 Innings (3rd on the team), making 18 starts (11-7 team record during his starts), and finishing with an excellent 3.84 ERA.
“I am thrilled to have Seth back for the 2025 season,” says Canaries Manager Mike Meyer. “Seth is a bulldog on the mound, and gives us a great chance to win every time he toes the rubber. We will look for him to continue working on his pitch ability and command of the strike zone. Seth will play a major role in the rotation this upcoming season.”
The Canaries open up their 2025 season on the road against the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks on Friday, May 9th. Their home schedule begins Tuesday, May 13th, welcoming in the Lincoln Saltdogs for a 3-game series.
