Sioux Falls Canaries Sign LHP Cade Torgerson for 2025 Season
Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Canaries are excited to announce the signing of left-handed pitcher Cade Torgerson. Torgerson, 25, joins the Canaries after a successful first season in professional baseball with the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks.
Torgerson’s 2024 season was a busy one, as he logged a total of 135.1 innings pitched across multiple teams. His journey began with a stellar senior season at the University of Jamestown before moving on to the Bismarck Larks of the Northwoods League and finally, the Redhawks, where he showcased his talents at the professional level.
“We are thrilled to bring Cade onto the team,” said Canaries Manager Mike Meyer. “He’s a versatile player, capable of fitting into both our starting rotation or in a relief role in the back end of our bullpen. Cade is a big, strong guy with good stuff, and we’re excited to see him continue to develop and grow as a pitcher.”
