Barth Takes Home Batter of the Week Honors
Sioux Falls Canaries shortstop Jordan Barth has been named the American Association’s Carbliss Batter of the Week for the week ending June 15.
Barth went 15-28 with five extra base hits over six games this week, helping the Birds sweep back-to-back series at Gary SouthShore and Kane County. The Cold Spring, Minnesota, native is currently tied for the league lead with four triples and his ten doubles are one shy of the top spot.
This marks the first career weekly honor for Barth, a 2024 American Association All-Star, and the second batter of the week honor for the Canaries this season.
