Canaries Re-Sign Logan Eickhoff
SIOUX FALLS, SD – The Canaries have announced the re-signing of young speedster, Logan Eickhoff.
Eickhoff, 23, will enter his second professional season with the Birds, following a fantastic collegiate career at Eastern Illinois University. The LaVista, Nebraska native was discovered at last year’s American Association Future’s Camp, which took place in Milwaukee ahead of the All-Star Game festivities. After signing with the Canaries in August, Logan appeared in 16 games, hitting .273 with 12 runs and going 6 for 6 in stolen bases.
“Logan is a gifted athlete,” says Canaries Manager Mike Meyer. “He has elite speed and has a chance to be one of the most dangerous guys on the base paths in the American Association. I love having players that can turn a single or walk into doubles. I look forward to watching him mature as a player, and continue to have quality at bats in 2024.”
