Sioux Falls Canaries Sign RHP Chase Gearing Ahead of 2026 Season
Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Canaries have announced the signing of Right-Handed Pitcher Chase Gearing ahead of the 2026 season.
Gearing, 26, enters his first season in Sioux Falls, and second in the American Association after spending 25’ with the Milwaukee Milkmen. The Nicholls State product has been a work horse over his career, specifically the last two seasons, tossing 164 innings, fanning 139 in that span.
“Chase is a guy we are really excited to add to the roster,” says Canaries Manager Mike Meyer. “He really competes every time he’s on the mound, and we believe he has a chance to be a big piece in our rotation.”
