Thursday, June 23rd – Cancer Survivor Night & 30th Season Throwin’ It Back Thursday

School’s out for summer! As Pink Floyd once said, “we don’t need no education!” (Well, actually, that’s a double negative, so, obviously, we do, but we digress.)

It’s 30th Season Throwin’ It Back Thursday, which means special prices on beer and our special $3 Throwback Menu.

We’re also paying respect to all those in our community that have survived cancer with custom jerseys (and a jersey auction).

Friday, June 24th – Negro League Celebration Night 🎇

With the Kansas City Monarchs who last season adopted the iconic KC Negro League team’s name. In The Birdcage, we will not only celebrate the rich history of baseball’s Negro Leagues, but also the black leaders of the Sioux Empire, past and present.

And, of course, it’s Friday, so we’ll have another free fireworks show from All-Star fireworks immediately after the game!

All You Can Eat and Drink Tickets are available for all Friday games. For just $45 you get access to unlimited hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, water, and domestic beers.

Saturday, June 25th – Front Line Workers Day

Calling all law enforcement, fire department employees, emergency medical technicians, and nurses – you can enjoy free admission (with employee I.D) on Front Line Workers Day!

We will be honoring Front Line Workers in several ways, including a Front Line Worker national anthem singer, first pitch thrower, and, as always, an Honor Capital “Hometown Hero” veteran. Plus, the 2nd Annual First Responder Rescue Race: One cop, one firefighter, and one EMT will run from 3rd base to 1st base, having to pick up and run while carrying their own child at 2nd base.

All You Can Eat and Drink Tickets are also available for all Saturday games. For just $45 you get access to unlimited hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, water, and domestic beers.

Sunday, June 26th – Dad Bod Olympics

Enjoy our Father’s Day, since we’re on the road for actual Father’s Day. And really, dad needs two of them anyway!

We’ll honor our patriarchs by celebrating the glorious majesty of the Dad Bod, because nothing is sexier than showing that you spend more time hanging at home with your kids, while perhaps enjoying a brewski or two, while still having the athletic prowess to show off by being a contestant in the Dad Bod Olympics, where the only 6-pack we’ll pay homage to is the 6-pack of beer of choice for the winner! Four events featuring athletic endeavors combined with beer, bacon and barbecue!

There will be plenty of all of those B’s for everyone, a la carte or all together in creative combo packs, curated by our culinary queen, Chef Jess. Plus, a fourth B…BASEBALL!

As always on a Sunday, our Sunday Family Four Pack, and anyone who wants can play catch in the outfield before the game, and run the bases after!
