The Great American Homestand!

Babe Ruth once said, “Heroes get remembered, but legends never die. Follow your heart, kid, and you’ll end up at The Birdcage to watch the Sioux Falls Canaries.” Okay, maybe that’s not exactly the quote, but it’s close.

The Canaries are HOME for another great home stand, so we pulled out some super fun activities to celebrate.

[DOUBLEHEADER] Wednesday, July 6 @ 5:00 – Top Gun Night on a Wacky 80’s Wednesday

We’ll take your breath away with sweet scenes from the original Top Gun movie and an all-80’s play list throughout the game, and Aviator Fuel drinks — lemonade, Sprite, vodka, ice, and lemon — as the Canaries clash with the Sioux City Explorers at 7:05.

Thursday, July 7th @ 7:05pm – Dumb and Dumber Night on a Throwin’ It Back Thursday

We’ll celebrate one of the funniest movies ever with its funniest scenes, $3 domestic tallboy beers, a $3 food menu, and by paying homage to the chili pepper scene from Dumb and Dumber with an Atomic Dog — a hot dog with habanero pepper sauce, jalapenos, and jalapeno cheddar cheese. And if the Canaries beat the Sioux City Explorers, every fan in attendance can redeem their ticket for any other Canaries game in 2022!

Friday, July 8th @ 7:05pm – The Sandlot Night

You’re killin’ me, Smalls! Kids 14-and-under who wear their little league baseball or softball jersey get a ticket discount. Enjoy “dirt cup” desserts — crushed cookies, chocolate pudding, and crushed Butterfinger candy. Plus, live music from Elisabeth Hunstad starting at 6:00 in the 3^rd base beer garden, scenes from The Sandlot all night, and, as always, a free All-Star Fireworks show immediately after the Birds play Fargo-Moorhead.

Saturday, July 9th @ 6:05pm – Military Appreciation Night

A long-time Canaries tradition. If you serve, or served, in the military, you get in free with a Military ID. Simple as that.

Plus, live music from local artist Danica Michaels starting at 5:00 in the 3^rd base beer garden.
