Sioux Falls Canaries Sign UTIL Calvin Estrada
Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Canaries are pleased to announce the signing of Calvin Estrada.
Estrada, 27, joins the Birds after spending past two seasons in Mexico and Staten Island of the Atlantic League. Over 2023-24, the Los Angelas, CA native has played in 187 games, collected 153 hits, 29 doubles, 9 home runs, while driving in 78 runs.
“Calvin is a guy we have been chasing the past couple of seasons, and I’m excited to finally see him in a Canaries uniform” says Canaries Manager Mike Meyer. “Calvin brings a lot of tools to the table. He can play all three outfield spots plus both corners of the infield. He’s a professional hitter who adds quality at bats every night and can do a lot of things offensively to help a team win ballgames.”
