Sioux Falls Canaries Announce Signing of Chris Kwitzer Ahead of 2026 Season
Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Canaries have announced the signing of infielder Chris Kwitzer for the upcoming season, adding another talented bat and steady glove to the club’s infield.
Kwitzer brings a combination of power, defensive reliability, and veteran leadership to Sioux Falls. He has built a reputation as a dependable defender (.984 fielding percentage at 3rd base in 2025) while also providing pop at the plate. His best season came in 2022, where he racked up 24 doubles, 20 home runs, while driving in 96 runs.
