Rehwaldt Named Batter of the Week
Sioux Falls, SD — Sioux Falls Canaries utility player Josh Rehwaldt has been named the American Association’s Carbliss Batter of the Week for the week ending June 22.
Rehwaldt went 13-25 with four homeruns and nine runs batted in over six games this week. The 2024 American Association All-Star leads the league in batting average (.393) and is tied for first with 57 total hits. The former University of Sioux Falls standout also ranks second in homeruns (13), runs batted in (42), on-base percentage (.476) and slugging percentage (.766).
This marks Rehwaldt’s third career appearance on the American Association weekly honor roll and his second this season.
