MONARCH POWER SURGE SINKS CANARIES
Sioux Falls, SD – Kansas City scored ten unanswered runs midway through Saturday’s game to down the Canaries 13-1 at the Birdcage.
The Monarchs never trailed, building a 3-0 lead before Anthony Hall got Sioux Falls on the board with an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth.
Kansas City belted three homers and scored six runs all with two outs in the sixth inning before scoring four times in the seventh.
Six different Canaries recorded a hit as the Birds dip to 43-43 overall. The two teams wrap up their series Sunday at 4:05pm.
