REHWALDT NAMED POSTSEASON ALL-STAR
Moorhead, MN – For the second consecutive season, Canaries outfielder Josh Rehwaldt has been named an American Association Postseason All-Star.
The Apple Valley, Minnesota, native hit .334 this season with 42 extra base hits, including a team-best 22 homeruns and drove in 70 while drawing 53 walks. He has represented the Birds at the midseason All-Star Game in each of the past three seasons, finishing as the Homerun Derby runnerup in 2026.
The former University of Sioux Falls standout made his pro debut with the Canaries in 2019 before a four-year run in the Frontier League and returned to the Birds in 2024.
This season Rehwaldt moved into fourth in Canaries history in both homeruns and walks and ranks sixth in doubles and runs batted in.
The Canaries open postseason play Wednesday, September 9, at home against Kansas City with first pitch set for 6:30pm.
