Josh Rehwaldt Named Batter of the Month
Sioux Falls, SD – Sioux Falls Canaries slugger Josh Rehwaldt has been named the American Association’s Rawlings Batter of the Month for June 2025.
The Apple Valley, Minnesota, native turned in a dominant month at the plate, hitting .407 over 24 games. Rehwaldt tallied five doubles, ten home runs and 30 RBI while drawing 20 walks against just 21 strikeouts in 112 plate appearances.
This marks the first career Batter of the Month honor for the University of Sioux Falls product and the first time a Canaries player has earned the award since August 2023.
