REDHAWKS RALLY PAST CANARIES IN FARGO
Fargo, ND – Fargo-Moorhead scored three unanswered runs to rally past the Canaries 4-3 on Friday.
The Birds jumped out to a 2-0 lead after one inning following back-to-back RBI doubles from Jabari Henry and Michael Curialle. The RedHawks, held hitless through four innings, took advantage of a leadoff walk in the bottom of the fourth and scored on a sacrifice groundout.
Mike Hart was hit by a pitch with two outs in the top of the fifth and scored on Henry’s second RBI double of the contests. Fargo-Moorhead countered with a pair of doubles in the bottom half to get within 3-2 before tying the game with a solo homerun in the sixth.
The Birds left the bases loaded in the seventh inning and the RedHawks scored what proved to be the winning run on a throwing error in the eighth.
Henry and Josh Rehwaldt each finished with two hits while Nicholai Arbach tossed six quality innings, allowing three runs on four hits. The Canaries (39-39) are now two games above Sioux City in the playoff picture and will look to snap their four-game skid Saturday at 6:00pm.
